He received both his M.D. and Ph.D. from Belgrade University Medical School, Belgrade, Serbia. Dr. Neskovic is Editorial Director of JAMA Serbia and Montenegro, and the member of editorial boards of Cardiovascular Ultrasound, and the European Journal of Echocardiography. Currently he serves as the president of the Echocardiographic Society of Serbia and board member of the European Association  of Echocardiography. He is a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Neskovic is the author or co-author of over 60 peer-reviewed international journal articles, three book chapters, and co-edited Informa Healthcare’s 2005 title, Emergency Echocardiography. Frank A. Flachskampf is Senior Staff Cardiologist and Consultant at Med. Klinik 2, University of Erlangen, Erlangen, Germany. Dr. Flachskampf received his M.D. from the University of Bonn Medical School, Germany. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the European Society of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography, and is a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Flachskampf is on the editorial board for the European Journal of Echocardiography, as well as the scientific advisory board of “Kompetenznetz Angeborene Herzfehler,” a national network of centers in pediatric cardiology sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Health.
